Communication Workshops

  • Compassionate Communication I

Discover and practice the core skills that are at the heart of receiving someone with compassion. Find out what it feels like to be fully listened to by someone, without judgment, interruption, or diversion, and do the same for others. See why empathy is the missing ingredient that accelerates our personal and professional relationships.

  • Compassionate Communication II

Learn how to express yourself with honesty and care. Say no and strengthen the relationship, make requests of others with respect for their needs and address difficult topics with empathy at the heart of the communication. Learn how to express yourself in a way that connects you to others rather than creating distance and division.

  • Conflict Engagement

In this workshop, we use techniques from Marshall Rosenber’s non-violent communication to enable us to engage with conflict in a positive way rather than ‘managing’ it away. By understanding the needs in any conflict situation or negative emotional expression we can connect to that person and find new strategies that meet the needs of both parties.

  • Foundations of Trust

Trust underpins all successful relationships and collaborations. Discover the fundamental pillars of trust and how to build them in your relationships. When one person in the relationship changes, everything changes. Unlock the power you hold in your hands to transform your relationships.

Developing Self

  • Empowering Mindsets

Explore the power of mindset on our life, work, and happiness. Participants will understand the key mindsets, and which are most associated with success and well-being. A self-assessment will provide insights into personal mindsets and actions will be explored to shift from victim mentality to accountability and ownership.

  • Purpose and Meaning

Participants are presented with a series of powerful self-reflective questions - first encouraging a “letting go” of usual ways of self-limiting thinking and then focusing on future opportunities and possibilities. This is a powerful session that requires deep thinking to understand what you want and what needs to change for you to achieve your goals.

  • Living My Values

Values are the guiding principles that support our life, giving us meaning and purpose. Being aware of our values and then intentionally living in alignment with those values in life brings great satisfaction and happiness. participants identify the values that matter to them most and how those values are reflected, or not, in their daily life.

  • Mastering Focus and Flow

The human mind is a distracted mind. Studies have shown that 47% of the time we are mentally off-task. This can look like struggling to stay focused, the mind wandering to other things, and getting distracted with unhelpful thoughts. Explore techniques to help manage distractions and increase focus and attention.

  • Work-Life Harmony

Work-life Harmony is about ensuring we are living a life that reflects our wants, needs, and values. This will be different for everyone, and it is important for everyone to understand what works for them. In this workshop, we will support a holistic approach to life and attaining well-being through looking at the different elements of life.

Developing Others

  • Coaching Mindset

To turn your managers into managers that can coach takes 16 hours! However, in 90 minutes we can start the cogs turning to get your managers to develop a coaching mindset. Participants explore what coaching is, how much they are doing, and what mindsets will help them develop a more coaching management style.

  • Feedback 101

Feedback, when done right is a gift that can motivate, inspire, and develop the individual. Too often though it is given clumsily, poorly, or not at all. Participants explore our three-step model for giving clear feedback and see why they should be giving (lots) more positive feedback than they currently are.

  • Getting 121s Right

121 meetings are an excellent opportunity for managers to check in with their team members and gain valuable information on engagement, well-being, and development. Usually, though, they are used solely to review current actions and discuss problems. Discover how to use this time wisely with meaningful dialogue.

  • Unlocking Motivation

Explore how to create an environment at work where motivation can flourish. Inspired by leading motivation theorists McCelland, Hertzberg, and Deci & Ryan, we see how these theories relate to the modern workplace and how we motivate in an era of dispersed teams, remote working, and job uncertainty.

EQ & Mindfulness

  • Developing My Resilience Tool Kit

  • Emotional Agility I

People with Emotional Agility don’t get ’hooked’ by their thoughts and feelings and get sucked into unproductive and unfounded negative self-talk or unhelpful emotions. In this first EA, workshop participants explore their connection to their thoughts and feelings and see how emotions show up for them in helpful and unhelpful ways.

  • Emotional Agility II

Emotional Agility II builds on the awareness built in EA I and considers how to regulate unwanted emotions and bring control when you can feel that you are ‘hooked’. Participants explore the concept of the ‘chimp’ that lives inside all of us and how to manage the chimp behaviours that threaten our relationships.

  • Managing Stress

A little stress (eustress) is a good thing, it motivates us to act and increases our engagement. Too much stress (distress), is destructive and can lead to burnout. Understand what happens to the mind and body when stress increases, notice your symptoms of stress, and develop strategies to avoid falling down the exhaustion funnel.

  • Settling the Busy Mind

Mindfulness is a natural capacity we all have which allows us to pay attention to our experience in the present moment, with curiosity, compassion, and acceptance. This workshop will introduce the participants to the concept of mindfulness and teach simple and effective mindfulness techniques that they can use to bring more focus, clarity, and calm to their life.
